For the burlesque and cabaret supperclub is hosting its very own ‘Blitz Party’ …

And well, you probably will.
Interested? Get this package for £75 … it includes three courses and a show.

Have you thought about Valentine’s Day yet? Don’t worry a jot, someone else has done the hard work for you.

Or at least, take your beloved to The Cinnamon Club, the famous Westminster restaurant manned by top Indian chef, Vivek Singh, and you can both indulge in a five-course menu – and all for £75.
Schmoozing couples of the sickly kind, can opt for ‘Two Spoons’, a doubled portion that comes on one plate with, you guessed it, two spoons for sharing.
One item on offer? Chargrilled black leg chicken breast stuffed with pistachio and chicken liver.
They’ll love you forever.

They may have ‘Anglais’ in their name, but that doesn’t mean chef Rowley Leigh’s West London restaurant is neglecting the very Scottish 25th January: Burns Night.

Head to his Bayswater restaurant on ‘Scottish Wednesday’ next week, and expect to enjoy yourself like a true Scot.
On offer for £29.50, is an evening full of haggis, tatties, Springback whisky, a ceilidh and a lot of good cheer. Who needs to go to Scotland, when Leigh has brought all the best of the traditions down to W2?
Go and raise a glass with them. You won’t regret it.

We’re approaching Burns Night – the evening when Scots celebrate their national poet, Robert Burns.

So what is London doing about it?
The Draft House, Tower Bridge, have teamed up with Scottish brewers Harviestoun and Glen Garioch whiskies to offer their customers a four-course meal deal, each one accompanied by both a Harviestoun beer and a Glen Garioch whisky.
What to expect on the menu? Well, it’s all very traditional: Scotch broth, haggis, neeps and tatties. For pudding, a dessert of cranachan, and a selection of cheeses.
Tickets are available to buy online atwww.drafthouse.co.uk/events
Each menu is priced at £25-a-head.

Last month (year!) we brought you tidings of Clapham Common’s new Del’Aziz with the promise of a late night subterranean bar for 2012. Well the team has just welcomed Zahra Bar to the postcode so prepare for some Middle Eastern merriment below stairs.
You can hold bar manager Jussi Kalmi responsible for your hangover – the Milk and Honey alumnus has created a cocktail menu including the Shanoush – cinnamon-infused tequila with pear cognac, fresh apple juice and green grapes, the Zahra – Pampero rum with pineapple, spices, lime and absinthe and the Del’ight (geddit?) – Hennessey Cognac with cigar syrup and chartreuse.
Do it to a backdrop of vibrant wallpaper (even extending to the ceiling), large copper Turkish tables, twinkling glass lanterns and sofas piled with cushions of brightly coloured silks. And Wednesday through Saturday, prepare to be seduced by all sorts of eastern promise as belly dancers shake their thang alongside jazz musicians and DJs.
Zahra Bar, 55-57 The Pavement, Clapham Old Town, SW4, 0207 4989128
