Kate Moss Leaves Topshop

Monday, August 30th, 2010

According to reports Kate Moss is set to end her lucrative four-year relationship with Sir Philip Green’s fashion retailer, Topshop, with a final launch in October. The company confirmed that the supermodel’s autumn/winter collection, her 14th, would be her last.

However, she may design a number of one-off “capsule” ranges in the future, a spokesman for Arcadia, the owner of the high-street store, said. Sources say the split was amicable, after a relationship that culminated in Moss’s presence alongside Sir Philip at the opening of Topshop’s flagship US store in New York in April last year, reports the Telegraph.

Apparently the range has ended as Kate Moss was un able to spend the large amounts of time that were required on the fashion label,  as there were other areas that she still wanted to pursue.

Dita for Perrier

Monday, August 2nd, 2010

Cheryl Cole’s face transplanted onto our iconic Elnett cans might be seen by some as a little upsetting. What happens if / when she falls from grace as the nation’s current sweetheart into Kerry Katona style reality fodder…?

However, when it comes to limited edition Perrier cans and bottles bearing the unmistakable image of Dita Von Teese – what’s not to like?

Entitled ‘Paparazzi’, the collaboration is a tongue-in-cheek reference to fame and fashion and follows the brand’s reputation for stylish link ups from  Agnés b. to Paul & Joe.

Says the queen of burlesque: “I love the mythic history of Perrier and the quintessentially French aesthetic and attitude. It is so chic, refreshing and classic. Perrier is all the things I aspire to be!”

And while this may be over-egging things a tad, the feat of reaching 100 without losing your sparkle is certainly not to be sniffed at.
