When your usp is a revolving conveyor belt, it’s sometimes difficult to know where to go to improve on the concept.

Next month, YO! Sushi is to introduce an alfresco conveyer belt at its new Southbank site.

Don’t worry though, unlike the London Underground, rain or leaves on the track are unlikely to bring your dinner plans to a shuddering halt.

There will be a cover in place to shelter both diners and sushsi from the elements and heaters too.

Phillip Watts Design was responsible for integrating the interior into the Listed Royal Festival Hall site and used natural materials to create an organic yet contemporary feel.
