Hair SOS at Richard Ward

We’ve all heard of skin diagnostic treatments where the face is subjected to micro examination highlighting every sub-cutaneous blemish going from spots you never knew you had to irreversible sun damage that you’d rather not know about at all.
Well now you can do the same for your hair courtesy of Richard Ward’s new Le Diagnostic Avance machine which utilises breakthrough x1000 magnification technology allowing top stylist Karen Taylor to quite literally get to the root of your hair’s condition. And then, and here’s the good bit, to actually do something about it.
My hair x1000 looked disturbingly like something out of Day of the Triffids but apart from a bit of congestion due to the fact that it hadn’t been washed in – well let’s not go there, eh, but a while - and some breakage around the ends, Karen told me that it wasn’t in bad shape at all.
Next for the 1.5 hour Pro Growth treatment whereby Nioxin Scalp Renew is applied to the hair. This is basically a resurfacing treatment or microdermabrasion for the hair and scalp unblocking follicles, dissolving dead skin cells and silicon build up, deep cleansing and moisturizing. It acts like a facial for the hair that increases cell renewal and improves collagen and elastin production stimulating both growth and improving general elasticity.
The winning combination of the treatment and an expert blow dry that I could sadly never hope to replicate at home but that brilliantly didn’t use any products apart from some heat protection and a couple of round brushes, left me with bouncing curls that I shamelessly didn’t wash for a week!
