This summer the Camden Pan-Asian restaurant Gilgamesh is set to open a food market on Monday nights.

For one night only the usual Babylon restaurant will turn into an authentic hawker market, popular throughout Asian countries. The giant venue will be decorated with Chinese lanterns and will have a variety of different stalls, with food ranging from Dim Sum and Peking Duck to Curry and even Sushi, allowing you to sample all the different wonders of Pan-Asian cuisine.

Famous throughout Asian countries, the hawker markets have been a vibrant and popular meeting place for hundreds of years bringing friends and family together to eat and talk. Here Gilgamesh is bringing some Beijing to Chalk Farm and with every meal being priced at £3 it is definitely worth taking a look.
